The same pattern for every provider, always started by the customer. Datok never asks for a platform password and never sees one.
How Datok handles connected data- 01Authorize
Sign in through the provider’s own authorization screen. Datok never asks for your platform passwords.
- 02Select accounts
Datok lists only the accounts the authenticated user already has access to. You choose which ones to read.
- 03Map to a business unit
Each selected account is mapped to the brand or business unit it belongs to.
- 04Sync
Datok retrieves authorized reporting data on a schedule and on demand, and records every run.
- 05Disconnect anytime
An administrator can revoke the connection from inside Datok, which stops all further access.
What Datok reads — and what it never does.
Outside the access Datok requests
- Billing details, payment methods, or invoices
- Campaign creation, editing, budget changes, or bidding — Datok does not perform these operations.
- Personal data about the people who saw or clicked an ad
- Any account the authenticated user is not already permitted to access
- Platform passwords, which are never requested or stored

Once connected, this source is normalized into the Datok Source of Truth™ and read by every surface — so the overview, the campaign table, and a saved report cannot disagree about the same period.
